Activities Carries Out by TPO Cell

Counselling of final year students regarding job opportunities and importance of campus selection process

Collection of data of students wiling for job/higher study/entrepreneur.

Conduct various training programs for students like Communication Skills Training to FE Students. Communication Skills Training to SE Students. Aptitude Training to Third Year Students. Interview Preparation Session for Final Year Students. Mock GD / PI Sessions for Final Year Students. Group discussion practice for final year students. Mock Aptitude Tests (Written and Online) For Final Year Students. For Improving Language Skills facility provided at Language Lab.

To train students regarding preparation of interviews, online test etc. through expert talks and mock test.

To invite industries for campus selection process.

To conduct the selection process for the company such as online test, interviews (offline or online).

To assist the selected students to complete their on boarding formalities.

To assist the Departments in conducting in-plant training for second year students.

Counselling of newly admitted first year students during induction program about functions and importance of T & P cell in the Institute.

To provide all the necessary data/information to higher office time to time (MSBTE/DTE/RO/RBTE/AICTE) regarding T & P Cell.

To prepare data required for TNA (Training Need Analysis) and provide assistance to Faculty for undergoing training arranged by DTE/MSBTE.

To maintain liaison with TPO’s of nearby Institutes for arranging pool campus.

To communicate industries for industrial visits of students.

To contact organisations for MOU.

Placement Policy:

There is no restriction to all registered and eligible students on appearing in interviews till they secure job.

Only one offer shall be permitted to each students and one job policy for every student.

At the end of the placement season, TPO may decide to call some companies only for the unplaced Students to help them to secure job

Process of Registration for Students:

The process of registration starts from fifth semester of final year up to second week of September every year

The placement facility is available to all final year students if registered with TPO for placements. Any Student not registered is not eligible for Placement opportunities

Student Code of Conduct:

It mandatory for all students appearing for any process of campus drive to come in college uniform.

Students must keep their Identity Card with them at the time of Pre placement Talk (PPT) /Test/Group Discussion / Personal Interviews and produce the same when demanded by the visiting team or TPO/TPO departmental coordinator.

Students are also requested to forward contacts they have, if any, in different companies so that TPO may formally invite these companies for placements.

All post job-offer communication between student and Company should be channelized only through the placement cell.

Direct communication with the company officials is Not Allowed.

It is mandatory for students to register for the company to participate in the placement process of the company.

Attendance in Pre Placement Talk of company is mandatory after registration, to be eligible for further placement process.

Students proceeding after the Pre Placement Talk of company for the next step in the selection process of a Company cannot quit in between. If a student quits in between the process, then he/she will be debarred and will not be allowed to appear in any other future placement event. Student has a fair chance to inform their decision of not continuing for the placement process to TPO.

For the Pool campus drives in other college or if the company conducts any round outside the campus, the students who have registered / selected should compulsorily participate in the process. Students remaining absent in such cases will be debarred for any further placement opportunities.

Any kind of misbehaviour / complaints reported by the company officials will be taken seriously and if proven, the student will be debarred from future campus placements.

If student is blacklisted then he/she can approach placement committee to make formal request for removal from blacklist. If the committee rejects his/her request then he can approach the Principal for the same. Decision of the Principal in the same matter will be final and binding. Once student is blacklisted, he/she is debarred from placement process.

Students should send their appointment order, joining letter and salary slip to TPO for record purpose.

• To provide guidance & assistance to the students towards becoming active partners in the industrial &economic development process.
• To motivate the students to be knowledge based entrepreneurs.
• To inculcate the entrepreneurial culture into minds of the students and to improve the managerial capabilities.
• To encourage self-employment tendencies among the students.

ACTIVITIES OF EDP CELL:

• To organize Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, Entrepreneurship Development Programs and Faculty Development Programs.
• To guide and assist prospective entrepreneurs on various aspects such as preparing project reports, obtaining project approvals, loans and facilities.
• To organize guest lectures, Seminars, etc. for promotion and growth of entrepreneurship.
• To arrange visits to industries for prospective entrepreneurs.
• To act as a Local Information Centre on business opportunities, processes, technologies, market, etc. by creating and maintaining relevant databases.
• To conduct skill development training programs leading to self/wage employment.
