Our institute is In charge of E1 zone of IEDSSA to Organize/conduct zonal sports competitions under guidance of IEDSSA Pune ( Head office ,GP Pune). E1 zone IEDSSA (GP Ahmednagar) includes all the polytechnics , D pharmacy institutes in Ahmednagar Districts. Gymkhana department provides like indoor games- chess ,carrom,Table-Tennis,Badminton etc and Outdoor games – Kho-Kho , Kabbadi , Athletics , Cricket , Football, wrestling , Weight lifting for boys and girls. Institute has playgrounds for Cricket , Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, Athletics etc for practice of such sports
Every year we conduct meeting of all principals/ representative of E1 Zone for organizing various sports competition. In this year 2022-23 E1 zonal Meeting was conducted on 15/10/2022 at , GP Ahmednagar.
The technical / Protest committee is formed for smooth conduction of sports competitions. The schedule of various sports competitions is finalized during 1 Nov – 20 Nov 2022
Every year our students participate in Zonal and Interzonal sports competitions. Our students have won many prizes in zonal & Interzonal sports completions. Our Kho-Kho team has won continuously 1st prize (Winner Trophy) for the year 2017/18/19. During 2019/20/21 due to covid19 situations Sports activities are not conducted by our institute as well as IEDSSA Pune .3
