Government Polytechnic, Ahmednagar is an institute established by Maharashtra state government in the year 1990. The institute is    approved by All India  Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of  Technical Education (MSBTE). The institute is located at Burudgaon Road which is a prime location of Ahmednagar town. The spacious campus of the institute houses the Main building comprising of the Academic & administrative Wings, Workshop building & Boy’s hostel.
